This is a wonderful, well-kept facility with excellent bathrooms and great staff!!
We love stopping here on our way to and from Houston. Very helpful and friendly staff. They go out of their way to help find an alternate routes when traffic is backed up on I10. Very clean bathrooms. The alligators are cool, too!
Nice place for a quick break from traveling. Nice restrooms, beautiful oaks and some heritage from the local on duty. Very large wood carving or two and a good little family photo shoot on the large porch. Saw a large, 4 inch, locust or grasshopper like guy walking down the drive way, he didn't mind having his picture taken at all. Anyway, nice place to stop and upwind for a few. Access is a little unusual but worth it.
Sadly, Southern hospitality was not apparent here. Chose to come here after making a turn at a local grungy truckstop and was turned away at the door. Five minutes before closing means that they are officially closed.
The ladies here are very nice. Even the restroom is fragrant. They also offer free coffee. Nice visitor center.
